Bird Control Italy S.r.l. is a company founded in 1998 and specialises in airport safety, with particular attention to wildlife strikes, it is the sole distributor in Italy for Scarecrow Ltd.
Bird Control Italy S.r.l. adheres to:
  • ENAC regulations for the establishment and management of airports
  • APT-01B ENAC circulars
  • ENAC (BSCI) guidelines regarding the evaluation of the installation of tips near airports
  • ENAC (BSCI) guidelines regarding the evaluation of sources which are attractive  for wildlife in zones adjacent to airports
  • The CAP 772 recommendations published by the  Civil Aviation Authority
Bird Control Italy S.r.l. also provides a service of consultation and conducts environmental research in collaboration with various Institutes, Universities, Agronomists, Biologists and other experts in the field.
Bird Control Italy S.r.l. is in the position to conduct, on behalf of Airport Management, training courses for airport personnel; to provide instruments and a software programme for preventative monitoring, necessary to reduce the risk of wildlife strikes and to provide all the necessary means for the dispersal of wildlife in airports.
